After winning the toss I chose to bat, I think this was a good idea as the ground was quite fast and we knew they were a good side and we didn't want to be demoralised if they got a high score.
We got off to quite a poor start  as our openers Bobby and I got out for quite a low score but then we had Alex Johnston who hit a total of seventeen which helped us get to our finished total of seventy one, which was unfortunately not good enough to beat them.
I think the main reason why we didn't beat them was also because we were not very lively in the field and we didn't take many wickets at all.
Overall the best team won but we were just unlucky and need to be a bit more lively in the field in the future.
