The coaching of the under 8's kwik cricket has been outstanding. Wendy, Graham (MK1) and Graham (MK2) have displayed extraordinary patience and resilience in the face of adversity. They are never quite sure what the evening will entail and adapt to every situation that comes their way .Consquently ,the children are developing some excellent relevant cricketing skills such as catching, throwing and batting. In addtion they are learning some other skills (mostly self-taught) which may prove useful in later life such as cartwheels, chucking your mate in the grass and lobbing balls in any direction but where asked. We haven't as yet this season had any inter-club fixtures, but we are open to offers, enthusiasm may win over skill. Above all else, however they seem to be having a good time which is probably the most important aspect of being a member of Ley Hill Cricket Club. We are very proud to be introducing the kids to this thriving and social local club. Talent scouts welcome.
