The annual awards were presented on Saturday 16th September following an entertaining inter-club match between Mad Max’s Men (captained by Max Lee) and The Nick-Knacks (captained by his father and Chairman Nick Lee). A detailed score card for this match can be found if you navigate to “Information – Documents” and click on the “Score Cards” icon for the Saturday 1st XI, but just for the record, The Nick-Knacks won. Scores were 193-10 for Mad Max’s men (who batted first) and 196-4 for The Nick-Knacks.

After everyone had enjoyed feasting on a selection of giant pizzas, the awards were presented as follows:

1st XI Player of the Year: Craig Peterson
2nd XI Player of the Year: Kevin Phillips
Young Player of the Year: Henry Sussum
Most Improved Player: Lucas Batt
Clubman of the Year: Chris Morris
The President’s Cup: Craig Peterson
The Debbie Johnson Award for Commitment:
Rob Sussum
Batting Award (for the highest score of the season)
Craig Peterson with 256 runs
Stan Channer Bowling Award (best figures of the season)
Suranga Daluwatta with 6 wickets for 14 runs

Century Awards were handed out to:
Craig Peterson (5 centuries of 256, 126 n.o., 124, 108 & 102);
Andy Rennard (1 century of 134);
Nick Lee (1 century of 129 n.o.);
Jon Lown (5 centuries of 115 n.o., 112 n.o., 107, 106 & 102 n.o.); and
Lewis Thompson (2 centuries of 113 & 101).

There was a hat-trick trophy for Douglas Petrie, but he was unable to attend to collect it.
