Skipper Craig Peterson won the toss and elected to have a bat, but it was not Ley Hill’s day. Highest score came from Jack Thompson with 34, followed by Phil Bush with 30, Max Lee with 25 and Craig himself with 22. Apart from 12 runs from Douglas Petrie, no-one else got into double figures. The damage was done by Amol Tyagi (3 for 31), Mayank Kedia (3 for 46) and Manpreet Singh (2 for 29).
Manpreet Singh opened the batting and scored 65 before being out LBW to Dougie, but his opening wicket partnership of 81 with Jim Warren was sufficient to ensure that Mayank Kedia and Amol Tyagi saw the side home with the loss of only 3 wickets. These were taken by Chris Morris (2 for 35) and Douglas Petrie (1 for 43).
